Emerald: Johto Edition
A complete Emerald ROM hack, based on the pokeemerald-expansion decompilation.
Pokémon from the original game have been replaced with those from the Johto region (Generation 1 and 2), resulting in a refreshed experience, while keeping the core feel of a mainline game.
Think of it a bit like a randomiser, but a little more cohesive.

Updated battle mechanics. Physical/Special split, Fairy type, Generation 9 learnsets.
Refreshed experience. Updated wild encounters, Gym Leader and Boss battles, and overworld graphics to use Pokémon from Generation 1 and 2.
Full day and night cycle, visible in the overworld. Encounter different wild Pokémon at day and at night.

New battles. Choose to take on the Johto Gym Leaders for an extra challenge.
